Joel Weisheit – President

Joel started Apex Refrigeration in 1997 and has more than thirty years of experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and process heat transfer with an emphasis on design, construction, and service. Joel oversees the entire corporation’s operations.

Tom Worthy

Tom has nearly 40 years of experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, boilers, heating, and process heat transfer with emphasis on construction, service, and logistics. He has implemented many large-scale projects across the United States. He currently manages the construction arm of Apex Refrigeration and oversees most out-of-state projects.

John Murdaugh

John has nearly 30 years of experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and process heat transfer with emphasis on thermal envelopes, system design, equipment utilization, control systems, and energy management. He has worked for multiple refrigeration companies across the United States and has gained a vast amount of knowledge from his different experiences. John is currently responsible for sales within Apex as well as new business development. He is the local chapter president of RETA (Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association) and also holds a degree from Arizona State University.

Erik Rasmussen

Erik has been in corporate America for a decade. He spent seven years working for Honeywell International’s industrial controls division prior to joining Apex. His responsibilities include the management of the company’s finances, marketing, legal and human resources. He earned his degree at Arizona State University and also took coursework at Northern Arizona University.

California

Joel Weisheit – President

Joel started the Arizona operations of Apex Refrigeration in 1997 and made the decision ten years later to open up operations in north/central California. He has more than thirty years of experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and process heat transfer with an emphasis on design, construction, and service. Joel oversees the entire corporation’s operations.

Dale McDonald

Dale has more than 35 years of experience in refrigeration and air conditioning with emphasis on compressor application, troubleshooting, and rebuilding. Dale is responsible for the overall management of the Lodi branch and engineering for Apex as a whole. He earned his Engineering degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Dustin McDonald

Dustin has 10+ years experience in refrigeration with emphasis in controls and system troubleshooting. Dustin spent most of his 10 years working in the produce industry with hands-on experience in vacuum cooling and ice production. Dustin oversees the day-to-day operations for the service and rebuild departments of the Lodi branch. He is a Level A certified Hazmat responder and is certified in controls for FES and Vilter compressor and system microprocessors.
